Benefits
Newborn grant €2500: To be eligible for the newborn grant, the baby must be born on Spanish territory and you must have been a resident for at least 2 years (as stated on your Residencia) at the time of the birth.
Rent subsidy under 30 years old: To claim for this you must be between 22 and 30 years old, this can only be claimed for a maximum of 4 years or until you reach they age of 30, your income cannot exceed more than €22000 per annum and you must have a work contract to prove that you have worked for 6 months or be claiming dole (Paro).
Working mother benefit: €100 per month. This is available until your child reaches the age of 3. It is imperative that you have a work contract for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
School Text book grant: Calvia & Andratx: If you are registered at the town hall and your children are at school you will be eligible to claim a grant towards the cost of the school text books that need to be purchased every year.
Application for disablement certificate: This can be obtained in order to apply for a disabled sticker, disabled self employment rates, disabled parking, discount rates at sport centres, etc.
